How to request deletion
- 01Sign in to verify the account.
Use the same email or connected provider used for your Empire FFB membership. This establishes which pilot account the request concerns.
Sign in securely → - 02Contact the commissioner who invited you.
Use your league’s existing communication channel outside Empire FFB. State clearly that you want your Empire FFB account deleted.
- 03Identify the right league account.
Provide the account email, league name, and team name. Do not send a password, one-time code, provider token, or invitation link.
- 04Complete identity verification.
The commissioner may confirm the request through the invited email or another established league channel before access or data is removed.
- 05Receive confirmation through that same channel.
The commissioner will coordinate the pilot removal and confirm when the request has been processed as far as the pilot systems allow.
If you cannot sign in
Contact the commissioner who originally invited you using the league’s established communication channel. Include the invited email, league, and team name and explain that you cannot access the account. The commissioner may take additional steps to verify that the request belongs to you.
If a connected provider created an account under a different address—such as an Apple private relay email—include both the invited email and the provider email shown in your account if you know them. Do not post either address in a public forum.
What the request covers
The Empire FFB authentication account, connected-provider link and tokens under our control, and basic profile fields are deleted or de-identified where technically supported.
Active league access and team-management authority are removed or reassigned. Commissioner accounts require authority transfer for every active or inactive league before the identity can be deleted.
Display-name and other participant-level fields are removed or replaced where doing so does not break the shared league record.
Deleting Empire FFB data does not delete your Google, Apple, or Facebook account. You can also remove Empire FFB from that provider’s connected-app settings.
What may remain
Fantasy football is a shared record. Draft picks, team transactions, matchup scores, standings, championships, and commissioner audit events may be kept in de-identified or team-attributed form so deleting one account does not corrupt the season for everyone else.
Limited security records, legal-compliance records, and provider backups or logs may also remain until they are no longer needed or rotate under the provider’s normal retention process. Retained information will not be used to restore deleted pilot access without a new invitation.
Connected-provider removal
Removing Empire FFB in Google, Apple, or Facebook stops future connected sign-in through that provider but does not by itself delete the Empire FFB league account or shared league history. Complete the commissioner request above as well.
- Google: review your Google Account’s third-party connections and remove Empire FFB access.
- Apple: open Apple Account settings, choose Sign in with Apple, and stop using Apple ID with Empire FFB.
- Facebook:open Settings & privacy, then Apps and websites, select Empire FFB, and remove it.
Provider menu names can change. Use the provider’s current connected-app or authorized-app settings if the wording above differs from what you see.
Timing and status
Pilot requests are handled manually and will be processed as soon as reasonably practical after identity verification and any required league transfer. The commissioner will use the league’s established communication channel for status and completion notices. Empire FFB does not currently publish deletion tickets or operate a public request-status portal.
